Last week we were told that it wouldn't be until April 14 that the framers could come and start our house then on Friday afternoon we got a call and long behold... "Framers will be there Monday" Holy crap we felt like we were scrambling to get things together and we thought we were ready for it all. We really are though but it is crazy how fast things change. Lumber started showing up on Saturday. Everyone is telling us to not make deadlines when you build a house and to expect contractors to be late. Lucky these guys showed up on Monday and Tuesday at noon they had the first floor done and all the joists up. Then when I came home from work they had the outside finished on the first floor. It has gone up so fast!!! Right now they have the inside framed out on the first floor and are working on the second level. Here are some pictures to keep you updated.
